Conveyancing

What is conveyancing?
Conveyancing involves the legal transfer of home ownership from the seller to the buyer. The whole conveyancing process starts when an offer on a property from a buyer is accepted by the seller. The process completes when the property keys are handing over to the new buyer. Both sellers and buyers need to go through the conveyancing process. It is always a good idea to choose your conveyancer or solicitor as early as possible, around the same time that you choose your estate agent, as this will help reduce delays or you can choose our APSaM approved professional conveyancing solicitor.

Who does the conveyancing?
Whether you are selling or buying, a solicitor or conveyancer will conduct the conveyancing process. There are a number of different providers who can carry out the conveyancing and at APSaM we will assist in recommending a professional and reputable conveyancing solicitor who is familiar with our business, our processes and our staff for a quick completion. This is just a recommendation and you are under no obligation to use this recommendation. You are free to select your own conveyancer if you feel more comfortable in doing that.

What does it entail?
For both the buyers and sellers of the property there are a number of legal procedures in the conveyancing process that have to be completed andour APSaMspecialist conveyancing solicitors are well versedwith them and explain these obligations in detail before your commitment or alternatively You are free to select your own conveyancer if you feel more comfortable in doing that.
